About The Position

Building, Facilities, & Security Manager Fink's Jewelers is seeking a proactive leader to oversee building operations, facility maintenance, and security management at our Corporate Headquarters located on Electric Road in Roanoke, VA. The Building, Facilities, and Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all building systems, facility maintenance, and security operations to ensure a safe, functional, and secure environment for employees, tenants, and visitors. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with expertise in facility management, building systems oversight, and security operations. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities and security management.
  • Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and security technology.
  • Experience with vendor contracts and budget management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the building and facilities, including managing building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment, supervise facility repairs and maintenance work, ensuring that it is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure the implementation of security protocols to safeguard the property, employees, tenants, and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency preparedness.
  • Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and identify cost savings.
  • Support space planning, renovations, and sustainability initiatives.
