About The Position
Montgomery College, Rockville campus, has an immediate need for two full-time Building Equipment Mechanics II in the facilities department. The work schedules are: 1st Shift, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday & Sunday-Thursday. This is a bargaining, non-exempt grade 25 position. Non-exempt positions are not eligible to work a secondary job at Montgomery College. The Building Equipment Mechanic II is skilled in maintaining and operating existing building and cooling equipment as well as performing mechanical maintenance and repair of building heating and cooling systems and associated pumps, fans, chillers, water lines and other equipment. Apply standard trade practices and follow applicable codes and regulations in completing assignments.
