About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Building Envelope Project Manager / Engineer to lead structural restoration and façade rehabilitation projects based in Bridgewater, MA. This is a full-time onsite position requiring daily office presence and regular field visits. Remote work is not available for this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil or structural engineering background with hands-on experience in building envelope evaluation, forensic investigation, restoration design, and construction administration. This position plays a key role in delivering technically sound solutions for complex exterior building systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restoration, building envelope consulting, or structural rehabilitation
  • Minimum E.I.T. certification required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
  • Demonstrated experience preparing bid packages including drawings and specifications
  • Experience with forensic investigation, evaluation, design, bid assistance, and construction administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in clear American English
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Bridgewater, MA (Monday–Friday)

Nice To Haves

  • Façade restoration, waterproofing, roofing systems, and structural concrete repair
  • Knowledge of exterior wall assemblies, masonry, steel, and concrete structures
  • Experience with public or institutional building rehabilitation projects

Responsibilities

  • Manage building envelope and structural restoration projects from evaluation through project closeout
  • Conduct site assessments, condition surveys, and forensic investigations of façade and exterior systems
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents
  • Provide bid-phase support and contractor coordination
  • Oversee construction administration including site visits, submittal reviews, and field observations
  • Evaluate structural deterioration, waterproofing failures, and envelope performance issues
  • Communicate findings and technical recommendations clearly in written reports
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal teams to maintain schedule and quality standards
