  • Configuring and testing complex building control systems to meet contract specifications.
  • Developing and testing essential software programs.
  • Handling the loading and commissioning of controllers across system and network levels.
  • Validating system functionality, troubleshooting issues for peak performance.
  • Collaborating closely with project management and engineering teams.
  • Contributing to creating as-built drawings and software.
  • Delivering tailored training to owners or operators on the complete building control system.
  • Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum (1) year of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, Space Logic, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
  • Two (2) years experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e LON, BacNet, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings.
