About The Position

An experienced NICET Level II certified Building Construction Inspector is needed for a NYS Thruway Building Project. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting an Addition & Roof Replacement construction project to ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Requirements

Experience in construction, inspections, or code enforcement
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
Knowledge of building codes (IBC, IRC preferred)
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
NICET Level II certification

Nice To Haves

ICC certification or relevant inspector certification preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site inspections at various stages of the project
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes
Review blueprints, plans, and permit applications
Document inspection findings and prepare reports
Work with contractors, engineers, and property owners to resolve code compliance issues
