About The Position

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Building Code Compliance Specialist located remotely. Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies is seeking a Building Code Compliance Specialist to collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that Henry products and systems meet all applicable regulatory, certification and approvals requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to initiate and manage certification projects with external testing laboratories and agencies, including UL, Factory Mutual, Miami-Dade County, ICC-ES, CRRC, and Florida Product Approval
  • Oversee code compliance and product certification documentation, ensuring that all updates are accurately communicated across the entire Business Unit, ensure projects are updated in Wrike.
  • Assist in developing test programs, identify gaps in listings, aid in building test assemblies if necessary, and travel to test labs to oversee building and testing processes as a technical lead.
  • Actively participate in industry association meetings to ensure the best interests of the Company are considered in the development programs and to support Henry Company strategy.
  • Deliver status reports and report milestones to the Codes & Compliance Manager according to the established schedule and at key project milestones or special communication needs.
