About The Position

As a member of ECS, you will perform third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections. Your responsibilities will include inspecting foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activities. You will also conduct plan reviews to determine if the permitted design plans require revisions and make recommendations to contractors, engineers, and/or architects. Additionally, you will prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy. Marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections is also part of your role. It is essential to follow ECS safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required
• Certifications are required for all types of testing performed
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
• A valid driver's license is required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary
