The Building Based Permanent Substitute position is designed to provide daily coverage for teachers, tutors, and educational support personnel (ESPs) throughout the school. The role emphasizes fostering an environment of respect and inclusion, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, and supervising children in various settings such as classrooms, cafeterias, and during recess. The substitute will also support school-wide duties, provide individual and small group instruction both in-person and remotely, and assist teachers in developing and implementing strategies to reinforce skills and content. Collaboration with teachers and related service providers is essential, and the substitute may perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Designee.
