Join Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus as a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician I, where you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing world-class patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to create a comfortable and safe environment for patients and staff, ensuring that all building automation systems are functioning optimally. In this position, you will assist with the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, analysis, and maintenance of Building Automation Systems, including remote connections and system malfunctions. You will respond to alarms and alerts, ensuring safe and effective operations within the facility. Monitoring critical temperature and humidity devices, such as meters and gauges, will be a key part of your role, as well as assisting with the inspection and calibration of these devices. You will also help manage inventory and maintain records for sensor and control devices related to both digital and pneumatic systems. Flexibility is important, as you may be required to work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of exposure to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or building automation systems (BAS). A strong customer service background and basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, are essential for success in this role.
