Requirements

  • 5-10 years of commercial HVAC experience (BAS and energy services preferred)
  • 5+ years managing building automation projects
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, BAS technologies, and construction project management
  • Proven financial, scheduling, and coordination skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on client service
  • A leadership mindset — hands-on, detail-driven, and committed to excellence

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of multiple BAS projects, ensuring they’re completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Supervise engineers, installers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, maintaining clear communication and accountability.
  • Conduct job walks and pre-bid reviews alongside the sales team to ensure accurate estimates and project coverage.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, manpower plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Identify, pursue, and document change orders as needed to maintain project profitability.
  • Track progress, quality, and safety compliance through regular site visits and team meetings.
  • Mentor and develop controls technicians and installers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Lead project turnover meetings, review documentation, and manage closeout requirements.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to align labor, materials, and subcontractor efforts with client expectations.
