We are seeking a Building Automation Project Engineer to manage and execute projects involving complex building automation systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with field teams and engineering groups to deliver smart, sustainable building solutions.

  • Independently manage, schedule, and budget assigned project work
  • Define, oversee, and commission building automation systems, focusing on large networks and third-party integrations
  • Serve as a technical expert for troubleshooting and system definition (remote and on-site)
  • Provide detailed design and operational guidance to field installation teams
  • Review and approve materials (DDC modules, sensors, control devices) to meet specifications
  • Develop software and graphics solutions for project needs
  • Execute and manage commissioning tasks within budget
  • Support training and mentoring of team members on documentation, field procedures, and HVAC automation
  • Act as liaison between field installation and engineering teams for third-party integrations
  • Troubleshoot communication and control issues to ensure seamless customer networks
  • Develop and adjust project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects
  • Document delays, scope changes, and incidents impacting project delivery
  • Bachelor's Degree in HVAC or related field with focus on building automation controls
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret scope of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Field experience with installation and operation of Automated Logic Controls
  • Proficiency in third-party control systems and integrations
  • Familiarity with Automated Logic and Phoenix software (WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, InterOp, Alert, Draw, EDB, Eikon, Supervision, Accel Works)
  • Experience in Construction, HVAC, and/or Building Automation
  • MS Project and MS Excel proficiency
