About The Position

Building Automation and Controls Manager to oversee commissioning and control systems for industrial and commercial projects, ensuring efficient performance, strong customer communication, and accurate problem resolution to benefit both the client and the company.

Requirements

Proven experience in Building Automation and controls management with a strong understanding of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage applications.
Knowledge of mechanical systems such as hydraulics and pneumatics
Strong background in industrial maintenance practices.
Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS), sensors integration, field service operations, and safety protocols related to high voltage environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, vendors and customer service personnel.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Tridium Niagara; experience with similar control software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership to field and office teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance across all phases of construction.
Lead projects from pre-construction through closeout, overseeing scheduling, workforce coordination, material procurement, equipment allocation, and site-specific risk management.
Actively participate in Service Department Management, conducting monthly financial reviews to ensure projects remain on budget and aligned with operational objectives.
Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor field progress and critical milestones, providing clear, consistent communication to clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain schedule and quality standards.
Responsible for the development and execution of long-term controls sales strategies and operational processes, providing leadership to both direct and indirect sales channels to drive sustainable growth and achieve profitability objectives.
Direct and manage projects delivery, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, within established scope, budget, and schedule, while maintaining the highest quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
