SUMMARY: Maintain sanitary and attractive surroundings, provide excellent customer service, and comply with safety/regulatory guidelines. Comply with OSHA and MSDS practices. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas; handle trash and waste disposal in compliance with standards. Maintain floors and carpets through stripping, waxing, and shampooing; ensure walkways are safe and accessible. Provide responsive assistance to patients, visitors, and staff, maintaining a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction. Adhere to OSHA and MSDS safety practices while working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
