About The Position

We are looking for a Build & Release Infrastructure Engineer to join Rokt's core platform engineering team. As a hands-on contributor, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers to evolve and maintain our build and release systems, ensuring our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code workflows, and artifact management processes are reliable, secure, and lightning-fast. This role is ideal for an engineer with solid DevOps or infrastructure experience who's eager to deepen their skills across CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native technologies while contributing to systems that support global-scale applications.

Requirements

• Solid experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Buildkite or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of artifact management tools like Nexus.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite or equivalent) to ensure efficient, reliable build and deployment workflows.
• Support and evolve container build pipelines using Docker/ECR, Helm charts, and Kubernetes-based release processes.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation via Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Enhance our artifact management ecosystem (e.g., Nexus), ensuring secure and performant package delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to streamline developer experience, improve reliability, and optimize release velocity.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to maintain high system availability.
• Partner with senior engineers to implement new tooling, processes, and standards that scale with Rokt's growth.

• Target total compensation ranges from $245,000 - $260,000.
