About The Position

Mach Industries, founded in 2022, is a rapidly growing defense technology company with approximately 220 employees, focused on developing next-generation autonomous defense platforms. The company's mission is to deliver scalable, decentralized defense systems that enhance the strategic capabilities of the United States and its allies, aiming to redefine the future of warfare through cutting-edge manufacturing, innovation at speed, and an unwavering focus on national security. Mach Industries is dedicated to solving the next generation of warfare with lethal systems that deter kinetic conflict and protect global security. The Build Engineer role involves owning the transformation of products from new designs to reality, working closely with Product Engineering and Manufacturing teams to build first articles, enable rapid design iteration, and capture critical lessons for product maturation into production. This is a hands-on role requiring resourcefulness, speed, and technical rigor. As a Build Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in proving out design concepts through the initial manufacturing phase, bridging the gap between design and manufacturing to deliver solutions that ensure manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and mission-critical reliability for decentralized, autonomous systems.
