About The Position

The Budtender position at Elevate Cannabis involves providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge in a retail cannabis environment. Budtenders are responsible for ensuring compliance with state laws while handling transactions and educating customers about cannabis products. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace and involves both full-time and part-time shifts, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Customer service professional with at least 1 year of experience.
• Organized and able to maintain a neat and clean work station.
• Familiarity with grams vs ounces and ability to perform simple math.
• Willingness to learn about new products and cannabinoids.
• Knowledge of laws and compliance surrounding retail operations.
• Ability to learn the effects and applications of concentrates and THC infused products.
• Experience in the use of cannabis and knowledge of strain genetics.
• Ability to obtain an Agent ID (75-dollar fee).
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive.
• Ability to operate the point of sale system and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Candidates must be over the age of 21.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service and assist customers with their needs.
• Check customer/patient IDs to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct transactions at the register accurately and efficiently.
• Front and face products on shelves to maintain store appearance.
• Stock products on shelves, which includes bending, lifting boxes up to forty pounds, and using a step stool.
• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods, up to 88% of the working day.
• Move about on foot to accomplish tasks and meet customer needs.
• Help keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping and mopping.
• Educate customers about products and their uses.
• Work with leadership to understand company goals and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
