About The Position
EMBR is hiring Full-Time Budtenders to join our passionate, professional team in La Mesa, CA. If you’re customer-focused, cannabis-savvy, and ready to grow in the industry — we want to meet you!
Requirements
- Cannabis knowledge required (strains, products, consumption methods)
- Must be 21+ with valid CA ID
- 2+ years of customer service; 1+ year of retail sales
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a criminal background check (LiveScan)
Nice To Haves
- Budtending experience preferred, especially in a licensed dispensary
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, educational, and friendly service to every customer
- Guide guests through product selection based on their individual needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales area
- Handle cash and transactions accurately and responsibly
- Follow compliance protocols and ensure all regulations are met
- Work 3–5 shifts/week (5–8 hours each) between 6:30 AM – 9:30 PM
- Be available weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings
