About The Position
A successful DACUT Budtender is a friendly, compassionate professional who provides product suggestions and guides customers through understanding the products and the process of purchasing those cannabis products. They must deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through quality customer service, excellent sales service, and cannabis education. The Budtender is required to follow strict cash control and inventory policies to ensure complete compliance with state and local laws. They must meet company sales goals and receive high-rating customer reviews by exceeding customers' expectations. Open availability is REQUIRED, and the Budtender must maintain a professional and clean appearance at all times. Knowledge of all cannabis products carried by DACUT is essential, and they are expected to read industry publications to keep up to date on trends. Additionally, the Budtender must attend all scheduled meetings, staff events, outings, and promotional events. They should be knowledgeable about cannabinoids, terpenes, and methods of cannabis consumption as it relates to the sale of cannabis products. The role also involves assisting with daily retail operations such as running side work, stocking, and cleaning. The Budtender must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly. A positive, can-do attitude, solution-based thinking, organization, and results-driven mindset are crucial for success in this position. They must remain familiar with industry compliance requirements applicable to retail operations and inform management if any product inventory is running low. Completing opening and closing duties every shift and performing other duties or projects as assigned by any supervisor or manager is also part of the job. The Budtender must be able to work on nights, weekends, and holidays.
