About The Position

The Budtender position at Kush Gardens is a vital role within our retail dispensary operations in El Reno, OK. As a Budtender, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers and providing them with a welcoming and informative experience as they navigate their cannabis purchasing journey. This role requires a friendly and compassionate demeanor, as you will assist customers in understanding, selecting, and purchasing a variety of cannabis products, including flowers, concentrates, edibles, and topicals. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, managing retail inventory, and maintaining displays, as well as providing curbside assistance when necessary. In this position, you will greet and acknowledge each customer, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all customers, assisting with daily retail operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Utilizing Point of Sale systems, you will process transactions and proactively assist customers in their shopping experience. Your role will also involve selling cannabis products through effective customer service techniques and professional selling skills, which includes sharing product knowledge and upselling when appropriate. Providing an exceptional customer experience is paramount, whether customers are shopping digitally, curbside, or in-store. You will be responsible for performing sales support functions, such as processing new receipts, managing damages, and handling returns to vendors. Additionally, you will assist with product and order fulfillment as assigned and participate in product training classes and seminars to enhance your knowledge and skills. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential, as is maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall operations of the dispensary.
