About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products, provide information on different strains and consumption methods, and ensure a positive and safe experience for all customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
• Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable
• Familiarity with stock management and inventory control is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
• Upselling skills to promote additional products or accessories
• Proficiency in using a cash register or POS system
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages is an advantage for multilingual customer interactions
• Technical sales experience is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations
• Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
• Educate customers on the different strains, effects, and consumption methods
• Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws, regulations, and industry trends
• Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain inventory levels and restock products as needed
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
