About The Position

The Budtender position at Green Dragon involves providing exceptional customer service in a cannabis retail environment. Budtenders will engage with customers, assist with product knowledge, and uphold company policies and visual merchandising standards.

Requirements

• Sales experience in a retail store environment preferred, but not required.
• Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or GED.
• Successfully pass a Level-2 background screening.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of cannabis retail experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a retail associate or cashier required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
• Properly and accurately use and train on the POS system, cash handling, safe audits, and change drops.
• Greet and check in customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist customers in-store, on the phone, and with processing online orders.
• Encourage sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and understand the training and compliance binder.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Uphold company policies and procedures and compliance standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring proper signage and marketing materials are visible and updated.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked store, ensuring general housekeeping duties are upheld.
• Maintain a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment.
