What you'll get to do (and learn!): Support Budget Operations: Help with the day-to-day tasks that keep our budget office running smoothly, like data entry, processing financial documents, and maintaining records. Assist with Analysis: Learn how to pull reports and gather financial data that our Budget Analysts use to make important decisions. Be a Data Detective: Help ensure the accuracy of our financial information. You'll be a pro at catching details. Team Up: Work closely with other budget professionals, learning from their expertise and contributing to a collaborative environment. Grow Your Skills: We'll provide training on budget processes, financial software, and the ins and outs of government finance. Requirements

Equivalent to an associate's degree; and One (1) year of experience
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Comfortable working with numbers and basic math.
Good communication skills – you're ready to learn and ask questions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, or a willingness to learn quickly.
A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Advanced Excel skills
Data Visualization skills
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Attention to detail
Experience communicating clearly and concisely, written and verbal
Ability to interpret and apply accounting and fiscal-related laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
