By joining our Pre-Audit Branch in the Division of Accounts as a Budget Support Specialist in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to serve executive employees throughout the cabinet by providing professional and technical accounts payable guidance.

Requirements

Develop an in-depth knowledge of eMARS, AgilePoint and Share Point programs.
Obtain KYTC accounts payable knowledge.
Gains knowledge of statutes, regulations, rules and KYTC policies.
Gain big picture knowledge of the amazing work done through KYTC.
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
One year of professional experience in statistical analysis, accounting, auditing, planning, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Audit Cabinet wide financial expenditures and provide high volume customer service support to employees on accounts payable documents within eMARS.
Manage electronic data within eMARS; assist auditors in retrieving documents.
Provide professional support and training to cabinet staff in person, on the phone or via teams.
Serve as backup to all accounts payable transactions ensuring team success.
