About The Position

This position is located with the I Corps Senior CDR AUG, G-8 Resource Management Program & Budget Division, on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. The role involves forecasting and executing the prior, current, and budget year program, developing and preparing required data and narrative justification for long-range budget exercises, evaluating proposals submitted by operating officials, and providing advice on work and administrative matters.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
• Must obtain and maintain Financial Management Certification Level 2 within two years of appointment.
• Due to the nature of this position, employees are required to work both planned, unscheduled overtime and some weekends.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and execute the prior, current and budget year program.
• Develops, formulates, and prepares required data and assorted narrative justification for long-range budget exercises.
• Evaluates the propriety of proposals submitted by operating officials and recommends necessary revisions.
• Provides advice and counsel on work and administrative matters.
• Initiates personnel and position management actions.
