About The Position

This position is with Tripler Army Medical Center, Directorate of Resource Management, Hawaii. Incumbent performs functions in implementing the organization's budgetary program, policies and procedures. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Requirements

• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• This position has been designated Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.

Responsibilities

• Develops, formulates and revises annual and multi-year budget estimates for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) Defense Health Program (DHP) mission accounts.
• Provides guidance and advice to supported TAMC directorates on the formulation of annual budget requirements.
• Researches documents in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and in other supporting systems.
• Selects and enters budgetary information on a wide variety of related forms, schedules and reports.
• Reviews and analyzes activity submissions in detail to assure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Researches and resolves unmatched disbursements (UMD), unmatched collection or credits (UMC), and GFEBS intermediate document (iDOC) errors.
