This role reports to the Budget Manager and is responsible for the comprehensive financial management of the agency's resources, including federal funding. Key responsibilities include: Financial Planning and Forecasting: Overseeing financial planning, monitoring, and analysis. This involves collaborating with the Accounts Receivable department to forecast revenue and meeting with fund stewards and program management to project expenditures. Fund Health Assessment: Utilizing revenue and expenditure forecasts to determine cash balances and assess the overall financial health of the agency's funds. Budgetary Expertise: Providing budgetary expertise for all funds, requiring a thorough understanding of each fund's legislation, history, program scope, and federal funding sources. Reporting and Data Integrity: Ensuring data integrity and performing financial and statistical analysis to support reporting for all levels of management. This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).
