About The Position

The Budget Analyst Senior serving as a key financial advisor to leadership to provide expert leadership and oversight of all budgetary functions for the Program Executive Office Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors Program Management Office Position, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT). This role encompasses the full spectrum of budgetary activities, from analyzing and formulating program requirements to preparing, justifying, and defending complex budgets. Manages budget and funding execution across multiple financial systems (GFEBS, LMP, DTS, CCaRS), proactively identifying and resolving potential budgetary issues. Leads the creation of execution documents, ensuring strict compliance with the FMR, and leverage advanced statistical analysis to optimize budget data accuracy. Requires a deep understanding of financial regulations, a proven ability to manage audits, and the capacity to independently resolve significant budgetary discrepancies, while maintaining the integrity and accessibility of all financial documentation on SharePoint. Mentors junior analysts and contributes to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Accounting with seven (7) years of experience providing budget analysis for multiple large projects. OR
  • Eleven (11) years of experience providing budget analysis for multiple large projects.
  • Seven (7) years of military service may be substituted for related experience.
  • Experience with Standard Operations and Maintenance Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS), Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Secret Clearance
