About The Position

Program Analyst will support NASA JSC Program Office providing Budgeting, Forecasting, Assessment, and Cost Estimating expertise. This position is located in Houston, TX. Your future duties and responsibilities: Provide Integrated Cost and Budget support. Provide management with analysis of NASA and Prime contractor's performance, variance analysis, and impacts. Perform budget formulation and execution activities. Interpret and apply Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) guidance. Provide current/future-year spending plans, readjust spending plans as changes in funding occur. Advise senior management on the status of fiscal resources/future requirements. Conduct budget trend analysis on NASA and Prime contractor's cost data for use by decision makers. Develop and identify the Program Baseline, Program Baseline Attributes, and reference points. Provide analysis of cost performance of NASA CAM's budget and projects. Develop cost analysis of major projects within the program, including the forecasting and identification of issues and developing recommendations to resolve these issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of applicable experience
  • Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) experience
  • Experience using Microsoft products, Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong Integration/Analysis skills

  • Power BI experience
  • NASA contract experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • MS/MA
  • Familiar with EIA-748 guidelines
