About The Position

The Budget Analyst will support the planning, developing, coordinating, defending, and executing funding for an Army Program Manager at Ft Belvoir, VA. This role requires general knowledge and hands-on experience using the Army’s General Funds Enterprise (GFEBS) and Army’s Logistics Modernization Plan (LMP) software/databases or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) Platforms. The analyst will assist in analyzing and resolving issues related to Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Financials (FI), and Asset Management (AM) and GFEBS transaction codes. Additionally, the analyst will resolve SAP IDOC errors for various financial and supply chain interfaces, including GPC Purchase cards, DTS, Purchase Requisition, and Purchase Orders, and will analyze civilian payroll postings to facilitate corrections of erroneous budget postings. The role also supports Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives and evaluates and resolves DCPS and ATAAPS errors upon the completion of GFEBS Payroll execution each pay period. Responsibilities include preparing WBS, sales orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a High School diploma and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of GFEBS.
  • Appropriate SAP certifications.
  • Demonstrated competency in written and oral communication, personal organization, EXCEL, and Fiscal Law.
