  • Assist management in the planning and development of the budget for the field division.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, justifications, briefing documents, and exhibits in support of budget estimates or specific budget requests.
  • Program funds as defined in operating plans and enter transactions into financial systems to reflect obligations and expenditures.
  • Oversee the use of investigative funds by monitoring and reporting on fund use and maintaining associated financial documentation/records.
  • Communicate both orally and in writing to provide consultative and advisory services to management and represent the organization in conferences and meetings related to financial matters.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation.
  • Must be registered or exempt from the Selective Service.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing budget oversight and analysis functions.
  • Alternatively, a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in federal budget processes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of financial management systems and reporting tools.
