About The Position

Temp To Full-Time Bucket Truck Operator safely drives and maneuvers a truck with an extendable boom (bucket) to lift workers and equipment for elevated tasks in the oil and gas industry focusing heavily on strict safety protocols, pre/post-trip inspections, equipment maintenance, and coordinating with ground crews for tasks like pumping unit repair and maintenance, line maintenance, tank repair and maintenance.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (DL) with relevant experience
• Experience operating aerial lifts/bucket trucks.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations in the oil and gas industry
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Physical fitness and comfort working at heights, and lifting up to 50lbs
• Good spatial awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate the aerial lift (bucket truck) to position workers and tools at height.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, perform pre-trip inspections, set up traffic cones/barriers, and conduct tree/area hazard assessments.
• Crew Coordination: Communicate effectively with ground crews and supervisors for efficient and safe work.
• Maintenance: Perform basic equipment checks and report issues.
