About The Position

The BU Controller at Qorvo is a senior-level individual contributor role responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to the business unit. This position involves partnering with the BU General Manager and leadership team to identify growth opportunities, reduce costs, and support financial decision-making through comprehensive analysis and reporting. The role requires the establishment of new financial processes and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial performance tracking, as well as the development of financial plans and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of finance experience, with controller experience preferred.
  • Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Strong MS Office skills required; SAP/BPC experience desired.
  • Excellent communication skills and logical thinking.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP-based transaction systems.
  • Ability to extract and analyze large data sets effectively.
  • Outstanding financial analysis skills and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and cost savings.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and v-lookups.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the BU General Manager and leadership team to provide financial advice and counsel.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business and reduce costs through proactive analysis.
  • Support the establishment of new financial processes and systems for successful integration of the division.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial analyses for significant transactions and capital expenditure proposals.
  • Present clear reviews of current and projected operating results to the BU leadership team.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret financial reports indicating trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of operational factors affecting financial results.
  • Recommend actions based on data analysis and comparative analyses; model various strategies.
  • Assist in evaluating proposed capital investments and facilitate financial planning.
  • Conduct forecasting, monthly results analysis, and ad hoc financial modeling.
