The position involves installing, modifying, configuring, and repairing computer hardware and software systems, while providing Tier I/II technical assistance to system users. Responsibilities include oversight and administration of ITSM Tools, ensuring the accuracy of information in the ticketing system, and compliance with current and future KPIs and Performance Metrics. The role also encompasses incident queue management and problem management (RCA) in the ITSM Tool. The candidate will install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer-related production equipment, such as automated/manual labeling equipment, shop floor data collection terminals, mobile devices, and HMIs. Continuous improvement, innovation, and technical and functional testing of new technologies are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, the position requires administration, management, and monitoring of telephony and voicemail systems, performing Tier I/II support, and troubleshooting incidents or problems related to these systems. The candidate will act as a liaison between equipment vendors and the company, and will also perform administration and integration of local area networks (LAN) and wireless local area networks (WLAN). Future electronic or technical systems may also need to be implemented, maintained, and supported. The role includes installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining stand-alone/network LaserJet printers and/or Multi-Function Devices, assisting IT System Support Analysts with triaging and resolving Tier I Oracle EBS, WMS, MWA, OPM related issues, and creating, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and documentation.

  • Provide supplementary Service Desk responsibilities as needed.
  • Install or assist in installation of hardware and peripheral components.
  • Install & configure standard or specific software packages.
  • Instruct users in the use of equipment, software, and manuals.
  • Perform infrastructure troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network related problems.
  • Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
  • Support IT Technical & IT Operations Team in continued expansion and ongoing support of Infrastructure & Server Equipment.
  • Install and troubleshoot wiring for local area network and telephony systems.
  • Monitor functioning of manufacturing or distribution equipment.
  • Maintain accurate transactional record of IT Company assets.
  • Site administration of the local and enterprise CMDB.
  • Perform or assist in the Preventive Maintenance on computers and devices.
  • Administration & monitoring of Incident Management & Request Fulfillment queues in ITSM Tool.
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • One (3) to three (5) years of proven experience in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment.
  • Support of ERP/MSC preferred.
  • A+ Certification or equivalent.
  • Network + Certification.
  • CCENT Certifications and/or equivalent.
  • ITIL Foundations or Equivalent Certification a plus.
  • Full-time employment with varied hours including 2nd/3rd shift & weekends.
