About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated BSA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a basic knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, and OFAC regulations, and will keep current on issues and risk areas, focusing appropriately on high-risk matters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six to twelve months of prior financial institution experience
• Proficiency in communication and computer skills
• Familiarity with banking policies and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assisting with account activity monitoring
• Conducting suspicious activity report investigations
• Reviewing customer accounts
• Supporting the administrative functions of the BSA Department
• Researching and resolving alerts in the BSA/AML Fraud System
• Reviewing system reports for suspicious activity
• Preparing Currency Transaction Reports within regulatory timeframes
