Responsibilities
- Perform basic nursing tasks including patient care.
- Report patient conditions and circumstances.
- Maintain equipment and unit cleanliness.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in nursing program at Amarillo College, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, or West Texas A&M University.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program with an anticipated program completion within 24 months from the date of hire.
- CPR certification.
