About The Position

Hanover Bank is looking for a full time BSA Analyst I to join our team. The BSA Analyst I is responsible for assisting with certain aspects of the Bank's BSA/AML compliance program. They will review and investigate alerts and perform other BSA compliance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• 1 - 3 years BSA experience preferred
• Working knowledge and understanding of general banking principles
• Strong internet research skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
• Ability to work and contribute in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Review & clear alerts generated by the Bank's BSA/AML transaction monitoring system. Escalate alerts to cases for further review in a timely manner.
• Daily monitoring of data scan audit log, OFAC review, and unvalidated transactions.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) within the required time frames.
• Review the Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on High-Risk Customers.
• Analyze the data imported daily into the automated transaction monitoring system.
• Stay current with changes in BSA and related laws & regulations.
• Handle any other duties or special projects as assigned by BSA and the BSA Manager.
