About The Position

The Bryce Jordan Center Food & Beverage Department is in search of Hospitality driven, friendly, dedicated and hard-working persons committed to providing excellent customer service in a fun and fast-paced environment. We are looking for reliable individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and work as an individual or as part of a team. Interested persons should have the ability to follow direction accurately, work quickly and efficiently and follow policies/procedures. Interested persons should have problem solving abilities with good communication skills and the ability to react to a multitude of situations. Most positions provide a flexible schedule and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering and serving food & beverage at PSU Catering events
• Ensure that all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout events
• Follow all responsible alcohol service policies
• Ensure designated areas are consistently cleared of used dishes and products
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Be a team player with a positive, friendly attitude
• Utilize operating POS system to ensure quick & accurate orders filled for guests
• Assist with setup and clean up duties in concession stand
