The Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Program is seeking non-equity, part-time stage managers for a variety of productions scheduled for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic season. This role is essential to the success of our projects, which range from smaller studio productions to fully produced main-stage productions, complete with full design teams and technical processes. Each contract typically lasts between 8 to 10 weeks, with a minimum pay of $20 per hour for each project. Stage managers serve as the central hub of communication among the student director, student actors, professional designers, and production departments, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment during rehearsals and performances. Candidates must be able to work calmly and efficiently with others, prioritizing the creation and maintenance of an equitable and inclusive environment. It is important to note that candidates must be based in the Southern New England area, as housing and transportation are not provided.
