About The Position

Brookdale at Home is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical hands-on care for seniors. This role involves assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and transfers. The position is available in full-time, part-time, and PRN capacities, with same-day interviews offered. Requirements

• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required
• Must maintain certification as a CNA/STNA
• Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship to seniors
• Assist with non-medical hands-on care including dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal care
• Help with transfers and mobility assistance
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
• Provide pet care as needed
• Transport seniors to doctor appointments and errands
• Remind residents to take their medications
• Check in with residents and provide status updates at the beginning and end of each shift
• Assist with dining and personal care needs
• Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy
• Support activities of daily living such as showers and bathroom assistance.
