Job Summary Responsible for the execution of the HealthSprings Medicare strategy for local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the market for the book of business they manage through training, relationship management, member retention and sales growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience OR Master Degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience OR 8 years health insurance sales experience
  • Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff
  • Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and Consumer Markets products
  • Marketing skills
  • Consultative skills
  • Training skills
  • Interviewing and selection skills
  • Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing
  • Knowledge and skills of PC applications such as Microsoft office and databases
  • Possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity

  • Self-directed and able to work independently or collaborative environment.
  • Conformability presenting research findings or improvement opportunities to leadership of various levels, and large audiences.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau Reporting Tool, and similar CRM tools for sales trend reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple agencies, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with Medicare products (Including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products).
  • Adherence to CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and procedures, customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred.
