Requirements

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as laid out in the Mafia Manifesto and Employee Handbook.
  • Have reliable transportation and be on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
  • Obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by state or local regulations.
  • Complete, pass, and maintain all required trainings, certifications, and knowledge tests to meet Dutch Bros standards and policies, including federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to perform mental math for cash handling.
  • Proficiency in written, oral, and verbal English communication.
  • Ability to view things from near and/or far distances.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, or be in movement for up to 10 hours in a shift.
  • Physical ability for possible stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Physical ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 65 lbs.
  • Physical ability for occasional ascending or descending on ladders or ramps.
  • Physical ability for frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine.
  • Ability to work in conditions exposed to chilly or hot weather.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with new people, greet and thank each customer with a smile, and provide them with their moment of special.
  • Help customers learn the menu, different products, and current specials.
  • Uphold Dutch Bros culture, which is focused on relationships.
  • Ensure consistency in speed, quality, and service so customers receive exactly what they ordered.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and make others feel good.
  • Show up to work on time and ready to go, communicate availability needs, and follow proper call out procedures.
  • Support as needed when unexpected situations arise.
