Join us and be part of our success! Summary: Acts as a liaison between Bachoco USA Farms and contract broiler producers by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides technical service to contract broiler producers. Maintains feed inventories. Reports mortality. Administers medications and vaccines. Responsible for the placement of baby chicks in an optimum environment. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must qualify for the company driving program.
  • The employee is regularly required to climb or balance and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and depth perception.
  • The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and explosives.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
