About The Position

The Summer Internship Program at Paramount Global offers college students a unique opportunity to explore careers in the entertainment industry through a 10-week paid internship. Interns will work closely with the operational team, focusing on broadcast operations and gaining hands-on experience with both on-prem and cloud-based broadcast technologies. This role is designed to provide valuable insights into the industry while serving as a potential pipeline for future employment opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of audio/video measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of video/audio formats such as NTSC/PAL, PCM, and AC3.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, and/or Airtable.
• Knowledge of IP or AWS cloud-based technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support broadcast operations by monitoring and controlling Paramount cable channels at the NOC and CCC.
• Assist in the tracking and testing of the cable channel migration from NOC to CCC.
• Gain exposure to live event planning and execution.
• Lead and execute testing, integrating, documenting, and supporting the monitoring by exception playout environment.
