About The Position
Jewelry Television is currently accepting applications for broadcast Show Host presenters and personalities. Do you love to shop, to engage, and to captivate a large broadcast audience – and most importantly – do you love jewelry and gemstones? Show Host candidates should be passionate about jewelry and gemstones, have a strong sales acumen, and must be comfortable conveying information in a non-scripted, live broadcast environment. Ideal candidates would have some experience in cruise entertainment, cruise port shopping, and/or sales related hosting in the cruise industry. Other sales related experience of interest would include the hosting of television programs, trade shows, or live events, such as a brand spokesperson. Experience, knowledge, and an interest in jewelry and gemstones are all huge pluses, as are any “features and benefits” selling experience you might have developed in previous roles. The JTV Show Host role is a Full-Time position located at our corporate headquarters in picturesque Knoxville, Tennessee. All Show Host candidates must be willing to relocate to the surrounding Knoxville area to be considered for his hosting opportunity. Jewelry Television broadcasts 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, and all interested candidates must willing to work all shifts including overnights, holidays, and weekends where applicable. If chosen for this role, you will enter into an extensive training program on both product knowledge and on-air performance. Requirements
- Passionate about jewelry and gemstones
- Strong sales acumen
- Comfortable conveying information in a non-scripted, live broadcast environment
- Willing to relocate to the surrounding Knoxville area
