About The Position

Buffalo Toronto Public Media is your local source for television and radio - WNED PBS, WNED PBS KIDS, WNED Create, WBFO NPR, WNED Classical, and WBFO The Bridge! We reach Western New York and Southern Ontario and can be streamed from your favorite device. Engaging our communities through exploration and entertainment-everywhere. We're looking for a per-diem Broadcast Programming Associate (BTPM Bridge)! The Broadcast Programming Associate provides administrative and operational support to the station and its team members.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills/programs including MS Office
Flexible, helpful attitude
Punctual
Willing to learn and adapt to various assignments/tasks
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Current, valid driver license

Nice To Haves

Technical aptitude or experience operating on-air control board and related functions preferred

Responsibilities

Assists with booking and scheduling on-air guests.
Assists with various production tasks such as program development, recording and editing, on-air broadcasts and related digital content.
Operates on-air control board.
May participate in on-air pledge drives as assigned.
Assists with on- and off-site events/concerts as needed.
Complies with all BTPM's policies, procedures and values; displays professional acumen and leads by example.
Performs all other duties as assigned by a member of management within the job scope.
