About The Position

The Broadcast Production Manager at Raycom Sports is responsible for overseeing various aspects of production and technical operations, including transmission, media ingest and delivery, quality control, and equipment maintenance. This role requires strong coordination skills to manage production support for broadcasts, crew scheduling, travel arrangements, and logistics for events. The position is based in Charlotte, NC, and involves supervising temporary employees and contractors while ensuring high-quality production standards are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of relevant experience in broadcasting or remote production.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, as well as travel booking software.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Strong mathematical skills including basic algebra and geometry.

• Experience in live broadcast production and remote production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate production support for various broadcasts and broadcast partners.
• Schedule crews including engineers, drivers, technical managers, and production staff.
• Approve invoices for vendors and manage travel arrangements for personnel.
• Coordinate shipping of equipment and supplies for productions.
• Administer and coordinate equipment maintenance and logistics for productions.
• Manage production vendors that support live broadcasts and conduct event technical surveys.
• Prepare, distribute, and revise documentation related to productions.
• Support special projects as assigned and maintain a flexible work schedule.
