The Broadcast Engineer Student Assistant will contribute in ensuring the technical success of the broadcasts and videoboard shows during Texas Athletic events, in addition to assisting with other duties on non-event days.

Requirements

• Interest in hands-on troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate audiovisual equipment such as cameras and audio mixers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of broadcast equipment such as cameras, monitors, and audio equipment for Texas Athletics Videoboard shows and ESPN Broadcasts.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment during non-event days.
• Serve as an Audio Engineer, Video Engineer, and Field Engineer during games and events.
• Transport, test, and set up broadcast equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics.
• Act ethically and seek guidance when unsure of laws, rules, or policies.
• Participate in assigned education and training programs.
• Comply with all laws, policies, rules, and regulations set forth by governing bodies.
• Report knowledge of violations of laws or policies to appropriate authorities.
• Cooperate with investigations by providing complete and accurate information.
