Summary: The Broadband Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to customers experiencing issues with their broadband internet service. This position requires a strong understanding of broadband technology, troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong understanding of broadband technology and troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot broadband internet issues
  • Provide technical support to customers over the phone and via remote desktop
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support staff
  • Document customer interactions and support requests
  • Maintain a knowledge base of broadband technology and troubleshooting procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest broadband technologies and trends
  • Participate in training and development opportunities
