About The Position

As a Bridging Futures Supervisor, you play a vital role in helping young adults (ages 17-21) transition successfully into adulthood. Requirements

  • Meets requirements for a Qualified Professional which are: Master's degree in a human services or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year supervised clinical experience working with children and families; Bachelor's degree in a human services field and two years' experience with the current population; or a Bachelor's degree in a non-human services field and four years' experience with the current population.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in working with teens/young adults, preferably in a mental health or child welfare setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills, including the ability to mentor, coach, and hold staff accountable.
  • Solid understanding of child welfare, mental health, and trauma-informed care, and ability to apply this knowledge to support young adults effectively.
  • Skilled in program development and operational management, including implementing goals, performance metrics, and staff training initiatives.
  • Maintains compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards, ensuring programs meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with staff, clients, families, and community partners.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively, using strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and electronic documentation systems to support efficient program operations.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, time management, and organizational skills, balancing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience supervising foster care or group care living program staff strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise Bridge Parents and Case Managers to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Bridging Futures program, including program goals and performance metrics.
  • Ensure client Plans of Care are effectively implemented, supporting life skills development, education, safety, and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and assist with assessments, case reviews, and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, state, and federal regulations, as well as COA/CARF accreditation standards.
  • Manage program finances, including client activity funds, payroll, and billing documentation.
  • Serve on-call as needed, providing guidance and support in crisis situations.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, families, DSS, and community partners to support youth success.
  • Foster an inclusive, therapeutic environment guided by the Sanctuary Model principles.
