About The Position
The position involves participating in the work of a crew engaged in the maintenance, repair, reconstruction, and strengthening of wooden, steel, and concrete bridges, box culverts, and related structures of the state highway system. Responsibilities include welding and fabricating, framing out forms and finishing concrete, sandblasting and painting, replacing bridge elements, and pressure washing and cleaning infrastructure. The role also requires assisting in other maintenance and construction activities on state highways and bridges, responding to seasonal operations, including winter operations, and performing related work as required.
